Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park - 234 Sunset Avenue - King Family Home CLR and HSR
WLA Studio partnered with the National Park Service Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC) and Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) to produce a Historic Structure Report for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King’s home in Atlanta. WLA Studio also produced Cultural Landscape Report for the site. The King Family Home is located in historic Vine City and is a relatively new acquisition for Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park. These documents provide are the set of first treatment recommendations and historic documentation for the King Family Home. They will guide treatment, visitor access, and future interpretation efforts for the house and site.
